HP is preparing a smartphone slider Palm C40
Company Hewlett-Packard, it seems, will soon submit a communicator on the basis of the operating system WebOS 2.0. Now supposedly preparing to release a smartphone appears under the name Palm C40. It is reported that the device will be made in the form factor “slider”, will receive a sliding QWERTY-keyboard and capacitive touch screen with a diagonal of 4.3 inches and a resolution of 480 ? 800 pixels.
Among the features of a smartphone officially supports interface “multitouch”, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G. Mentioned camera with 5 Megapixels (other sources – 8 MP) and the ability to record video in 720p format.
“Heart” of Palm C40 – 1 GHz processor Qualcomm Snapdragon; RAM – 512 MB. The device is expected to get 32 GB of integrated flash memory, expandable through cards microSD.
It is expected that the device will debut in the fall and will be offered a mobile operator Sprint.

why not give the c40 two cameras like the HTC EVO 4G and Samsung Epic 4G. having the capability to make video calls would help sells. i have the Palm Pre and that’s the only way i’ll buy it otherwise i’ll be purchasing the EVO
