LG has announced the third smartphone Optimus

LG Electronics has announced the launch of the Korean market new smartphone LG Optimus Z (LG-SU950/KU9500). Distributed through a network of local telecom operator SK Telecom and KT, smartphone Optimus Z, a part of a series of LG Optimus, boasts a stylish design and a new version of Google’s Android OS.

Smartphone running the operating system Android 2.1 with the ability to upgrade to version 2.2 before the end of this year. It is equipped with 3.5-inch WVGA Hyper HD LCD-display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1 GHz, Korean mobile TV standard T-DMB, Dolby Mobile and support video format DivX. Optimus Z comes with two 1350 mAh batteries.
Having a thickness of only 11,05 mm, and the unique design of Z-style, smartphone Optimus Z is more compact than previous LG smartphones. The first among Korean smartphones LG Optimus Z provides a function “On Screen Phone“, which enables the display phone interface on the PC. Connecting your phone to your PC using Bluetooth or data cable, the user can control various functions of a smartphone, including applications and e-mail client directly from your computer. In addition, this can easily pass on the Optimus Z all documents, photos or music files stored on your PC. Moreover, the function “Drag & Shake” lets users LG Optimus Z share files between the smartphone by simply shaking the phone, and the function LG “Air Sync” gives them the opportunity to continually synchronize the phone with a PC or other mobile digital devices.
LG Optimus Z comes with more than 100 predefined applications, the most popular in Korea, among which 70 applications are not available in the online store Android Market. Additional applications can be downloaded from online stores SK Telecom and KT.
