Officially announced smartphone T-Mobile G2
American operator T-Mobile officially introduced the T-Mobile G2, which is the successor of the first Android smartphone T-Mobile G1. As previously announced, this is the first model of the operator with the support of the new high-speed network HSPA +.

The device is running an operating system Android 2.2 and built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7230 processor with 800 MHz. T-Mobile G2 is a slider with a 3.7-inch touch screen and QWERTY keyboard. The novelty is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, 4 GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi module and Bluetooth, GPS-receiver, a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack and memory card slot for microSD (up to 32 GB). It should be noted that the camera is able to capture video with a resolution of 720p. 8 GB card comes with your smartphone.
The device preinstalled following applications: Gmail, Google Maps with the functions of Navigation and Places, YouTube, Google Talk, Google Earth and Google Goggles. It also supports the protocol Microsoft Exchange.
The operator T-Mobile will start accepting pre-orders for smartphone T-Mobile G2 in the end of this month. The cost of the device has not yet been named. It is expected that the modification of the smartphone T-Mobile G2 will appear in Europe under the name HTC Desire Z.
