On the Russian market announced Samsung Wave 525 and Wave 533
Samsung Electronics announced the launch of the Russian market two new smartphones Wave 525 and Wave 533 on the basis of an open mobile platform bada with interface TouchWiz 3.0, developed by the company. Previously, these models were mentioned by several other names – Wave 2 and Wave 2 Pro.
The devices differ only in form factor – Wave 525 is a touchscreen candybar, and Wave 533 is a side-slider with a touchscreen and sliding QWERTY-keyboard.
Both models are equipped with 3.2-inch screen with a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels (WQVGA), 3-megapixel camera, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Dolfin Browser 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB 2.0, 80 MB memory and microSD up to 16 GB. The battery has a capacity of 1200 mAh. Dimensions: 109,5 x 55 x 11,7 mm (Wave 525) and 109,5 x 55 x 15,15 mm (Wave 533).
The phones has almost all the features that joy to users in the first model Wave. First, it is Social Hub – association contacts, social services (Facebook, Twitter and others) and e-mail in one application. There geotegging photos, access to Samsung Apps, where you can download applications, games for the bada and 3,5-mm jack for headphones. But the luxurious Super AMOLED-display that was used in the S8500 Wave, the buyer will not see in new products. They use TFT-display. Also, the devices does not support 3G.
In Russia, new items appear in September at the price of $305 and $330 respectively for Wave 525 and Wave 533.

The only feature missing in the Samsung wave 533 handset is 3g.
