IFA 2010: Samsung I5510 demonstrated

The IFA 2010 was the premiere for the Samsung I5510. New device introduced, Samsung and European mobile operator Vodafone.

The device is made in the form factor “side slider”. The smartphone is equipped with a sliding QWERTY-keyboard, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11n), a camera with 5 Megapixels,  GPS  and a slot for card format microSD. At the front of the smartphone is an optical joystick.

Samsung I5510 is running an operating system, Android 2.2, and is designed for cellular networks GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA. The cost of the new smartphone should not exceed 200 euros.
